Will There Be Power Outages?

At the CTICC, we have ensured that your event will not be interrupted and all our services will continue to be delivered. We have substantial back-up power infrastructure comprising large generators to support all the venues in both our complexes at CTICC 1 and CTICC 2, which automatically start up when a power outage is detected, taking over the load in approximately 50 seconds.

Are there any tour guides that you could recommend?

Cape Town has many accredited well trained tour guides, for your convenience the CTICC has partnered with SMME, AFTA Tours. The tour operator has a dedicated service desk located in the CTICC 1 foyer for enquiries, or call +27 (0) 72 286 2712.

What else can I find to do in Cape Town?

Cape Town is filled with plenty things to do, see and shop. From top attractions such as a trip to Robben Island or a visit to the Table Mountain National Park right through to fabulous theatre and dining. Please visit this page to find out more about what is at your fingertips.

Is it safe to be in the city and surroundings of CTICC?

No matter where in the world you find yourself, it is important to be vigilant of your surroundings. We urge visitors to the city to be cautious and observant in order to be safe and secure. To find out more the City of Cape Town offers a comprehensive list of Safety Awareness for travellers.

Do you have wheelchair access?

The CTICC building incorporates international norms as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the South African Building Regulations (NBR) Standards. This includes safe and easy building and venue access, lifts and restrooms as well as designated parking bays for the disabled.

What facilities are available to visitors at the CTICC?

Whatever your needs whilst attending a conference, the CTICC offers a variety of handy on-site facilities specifically aimed at providing our guests with everything they need during an event under one roof.
