This disorder is completely preventable but not curable and, unfortunately, South Africa has the highest reported FASD prevalence rate in the world. FARR is working hard to change this.Their projectsImplementing impactful community interventions, driving social awareness programmes, conducting world-class research and offering extensive diagnosis, management, support, training, educational and mentorship services. Partnership with the CTICCAs a convention centre that serves alcohol, the CTICC believes it has a duty to promote the responsible consumption thereof. Our partnership with FARR has been invaluable, as it demonstrates the CTICC’s support for alcohol-related research, as well as the centre’s commitment to spreading awareness about alcohol usage and abuse and its far-reaching consequences.
