Getting to the CTICC is easy as Cape Town is a dynamic, cosmopolitan city with well-established transport systems in place. The CTICC is also conveniently located in the central business and entertainment hub of the city, and is close to many major attractions, and places to stay and eat.

Transport Options to the CTICC

Ask your taxi driver to pick you up or drop you off at the designated pick-up and drop-off zones outside the main entrance of CTICC 1 and CTICC 2. You can also make use of accredited taxis at the drop-off and pick-up point infront of CTICC 1. Should you require assistance, enquire with the reception desk.

The CTICC is conveniently located along two MyCiTi bus public transport routes. The CTICC bus stops are located on Walter Sisulu Ave, near the main entrance of CTICC 1. These stops are serviced by routes 104 and 116, which also run to the popular V&A Waterfront.

A dedicated City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-off bus stop is also is located at Entrance 3 on Walter Sisulu Avenue. Sightseers can stop at the CTICC, visit the coffee shops, or attend one of our scheduled consumer shows. Guests can also purchase tickets to any of the consumer shows, on the day at the show venue.

Delegates wanting to go on the City Sightseeing bus directly from the CTICC can hop-on and purchase tickets prior to departure.

Driving to and parking at the CTICC is a little simpler, with over 1 400 secure parking bays. Accessible on-site parking bays are available to visitors in P3 & P5. Please click here for more information on parking garage locations and tariffs.

The unique Roggebaai Canal offers a relaxed, charming journey via City Sightseeing’s Hop-on Hop-off Canal Cruise water taxis between the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the CTICC. The taxis stop outside CTICC 1, near the P1 parking garage entrance, and run every 20-30 minutes.

In an effort to minimise its carbon footprint, the CTICC encourages the use of bicycles and offers free bicycle parking facilities in P3 and on Convention Square outside the entrance to CTICC 1.

Flying to Cape Town
Cape Town shares a time zone with many European and African cities and is as close as an overnight flight. Direct flights to Cape Town are available from over 20 international destinations. Domestic airlines also link Cape Town to all other centres around the country.

Transport from the Airport
When arriving at Cape Town International Airport, there are several options for transport into the city.

The MyCiTi bus public transport system offers a non-stop shuttle to and from the airport. The bus station can be found right outside the main terminal entrance, and buses depart every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour.

You can also catch a taxi from outside the terminal or request an Uber by following the directions on the app to the designated pick up zone in the P1 parking garage.

A wide range of car hire companies are also available, while private luxury air-conditioned coaches and shuttle buses regularly run between the airport, hotels, the city centre and most major tourist destinations.

The airport is a 20-30 minute drive from the CTICC and the city centre.
